Anti-Bullying band »
Just wanted to thank you again for another terrific show. As always, once The Bureau of Lectures goes on the flyer, the registration sheet fills up, and no one leaves disappointed. We appreciate your enthusiasm and your thoughtfulness (staying late to make sure every child had a chance to play went above and beyond!), and we look forward to your next round of wizardry. --- East Rutherford Memorial Library, East Rutherford, NJ
Since 2008 Reverse Order has performed upbeat popular music to instantly engage students. Most recently Reverse Order was a producer's pick and semi-finalist on "America's Got Talent." This amazing opportunity sent them off on a national tour of outreach to students in Middle and High Schools around the country.
Students can relate to Reverse Order. The young band members are able to make a direct relation to the students they reach out to and they speak from experience.
Reverse The Trend is an Anti-Bullying concert and assembly created by the young band Reverse Order to help combat the rise of bullying across America The band starts the program by performing a few songs to excite and engage the students using popular music that all will enjoy. We found the concert increases their interest and attentiveness. Reverse Order continues the assembly by sharing their individual stories of how they were bullied, and how they overcame it in a safe and productive way.
Students are often shocked to hear that even "celebrities" are bullied and it's comforting for them to know that they are not alone, and they too can overcome and accomplish great things in their own lives.
Founded in 1901, the Bureau of Lectures provided over 7000 assemblies to 2938 schools in the last school year. Our programs are education and/or entertaining and GUARANTEED.
We think you will be most pleased with the line-up of programs we are offering you for the 2014-2015 year. Almost all of the programs are related in some way to your curriculum, and most can deliver a "Say No" message if you want to use drug free funds to pay for the assembly.
As always, call us with your special needs and requests. We pride ourselves on our "fast, patient, and imformative" service and our commitment to quality programming.
